When patients do not show for their outpatient appointments, the clinical outcomes become unfavorable leading to decreased patient satisfaction. For the providers, this leads to unused slots that lead to decreased revenue. Automated methods are available to confirm appointments in addition to patient service coordinator (PSC) making active phone calls. The aims for this project is to evaluate the no-show rates using automated methods of confirmation, in-person and virtual visits, and patients living in underserved areas.
