Biography
Nobuhiro Inagaki is a doctor working in Emergency Department for twenty-eight years. I came to Almeida Memorial Hospital in Oita, Japan seventeen years ago. Before coming to Oita I was working in Tokyo as a resident. In this period, I got a doctoral degree (Ph.D.). My professional field is Critical Care and Emergency Medicine and I’m also interested in disaster medicine. I’m a member of DMAT (Disaster Medical Assistance Team).
Research Interest
The revised Road Traffic Act became effective in April 2023, requiring all cyclists to “make efforts” to wear helmets. On the other hand, it has been three years since Oita Prefecture proactively introduced mandatory helmet use for high school students in 2021. Its effects on clinical practice were analyzed to discuss the usefulness of mandatory helmet use for high school students.
