Research Interest

Nursing faculty engagement in scholarship ensures that curricula and student learning evolve to meet the changing demands of healthcare environments, which improves patient-centered outcomes. Scholarly participation equips nurse educators to prepare future bedside nurses, leaders, and innovators with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking necessary for success in dynamic healthcare landscapes 1,2,3. However, faculty, especially those transitioning from clinical practice to academia, often encounter barriers to pursuing scholarly activities. These barriers include heavy workloads, time constraints, limited funding, and insufficient mentorship 4. The challenges are intensified by institutional scholarship requirements to achieve tenure and professional advancement 2,5,6. To address these obstacles, our school implemented an innovative structured research group with a rotating design. This group offers mentorship, resources, and collaborative opportunities, cultivating an environment that supports faculty scholarship.
